Kingdom Hearts 3 feature

Kingdom Hearts Series is officially coming to Epic Games Store on March 30th

And it’s finally official. After numerous leaks and rumors, the Kingdom Hearts series is officially coming to the PC. However, there is a catch. From the looks of it, the Kingdom Hearts PC games will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

In order to celebrate this announcement, Epic Games released the following trailer.

KINGDOM HEARTS Series Epic Games Store Announcement Trailer

As we can see, Square Enix will release Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory.

Now, this is obviously great news for all Kingdom Hearts PC fans out there. However, we are certain that some gamers will be disappointed by the EGS exclusivity deal. My guess is that all Kingdom Hearts game will come out on Steam in 2022.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5″

ok so that is some kinda remake of the first game with extra missions or whatever.

    ” 2.5 Remix,”

and this is the same for 2

“Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue”

    DAFUQ?

“Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory.”

At this point i dont even get wtf is all of that.

    1. No it’s literally not even a remake. It’s a remaster for PS3 that had extra content. It’s basically like the Kingdom Hearts franchise version of FFX International Remastered. A vastly better game, which also included FFX-2 remastered. For $40 when it was brand new.

Need I mention that KH1 came out barely a year after FFX?

This is without a doubt the most egregious, asinine pricing I’ve ever seen from Square Enix.

  2. Is this the first time a major Japanese publisher had taken an Epic Games bribe?
As far as I can tell, previously it was only indies and big western pubs that did these kinds of deals.

    1. this guys obviously only upset because he cant play his pirated games anym ore BECAUSE YOU Made them all go online! lmfao HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

    2. Man all does years downloading pcsx2 and more simulators fixing all the problems and finally when im up to date with the games ( what i mean by that is me playing all the KHs games lol ) NOW THEY RELEASE IT ON PC!!! XD o god.

    1. Yakuza has become my fav franchise of all time after playing 0, then like a dragon and finishing up Kiwami as we speak. I have plenty of Yakuza to keep me happy until KH hits steam and hopefully for more reasonable prices

  3. Did you guys see those prices?! 50-60$ for every package and all of them are out in the same day
    KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX ~50$
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue 60$
KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC) 60$
KINGDOM HEARTS — Melody of Memory 60$

    1. The prices are completely unreasonable, especially when compared to being able to buy The Story So Far for under 40$ regularly. SE is out of their minds charging this much

      1. The Story So Far for

That’s akin to Halo’s masterchief collection right? If so SE can go F themselves.

They took Timmy’s glorious yuans, splitted the package AND are selling them as if they are NEW games.

They clearly overstimating, as always, the pull this franchise has, especially when 3 as far as i know was a flop.

        1. Yes, The Story So Far being compared to Master Chief Collection is a perfect example. The only thing it doesnt come with is the music game but thats fine. TSSF = 40 or less when the content in TSSF on PC is = 170$. That’s so unfair

    2. Lmao not even a surprise but still hilarious.

Same Japan BS. Same console BS, different day. To be fair, AT LEAST Sega charged like $30 when they released Yakuza Remastered – 3 PS2 and PS3 games. That’s reasonable pricing for 3 games that were never on PC and were remastered. At LEAST Persona 4 is like $17 right now. Vanquish and Infinite Undiscovery or whatever it was called, I mean that one Sega RPG, those were all almost reasonably priced on release on PC.

$50 for a 6 YEAR OLD REMASTER? Of OLDER PS2 games? Are you F*ING kidding?! Just like EA charging $60 for a remaster of games where the newest one is like 9 years old. Be serious with this BS.

  4. 15-20 yo PS2 games remastered for PS3 ported to PS4 ported to PC.
    “$60 please”

Some remaster of 3DS game + movies from 2 other mobile games
    “$60 please”

Rhythm music runner & Audiosurf clone
    “$60 please”

    1. Always talking about wanting hurt or someone to die for not thinking like u but some how u are the good person in ur mind

  5. Luckily, we’re not all stupid as you are! Some people still have convictions and don’t want to encourage a company linked to Tencent and the CCP, who bribe’s the weakest dev’s!

    1. you should really stop the whole EGS/Tenet connection thing, after the recent news about Steam and China. it doesnt make your argument look good.

  6. For whom?

    The people making the game?

Are you completely disabled? Valve gives a standard 70% cut to the developers. That’s 70% of the profit. If the game sells a certain amount, that goes to 80%. Valve operates the worlds largest digital distribution network, with datacenters all over the planet that offer real-time downloading and patching for over 30,000 games at any time. They’re also the only way to buy games in most countries – countries that for years were just bootlegging games or had high barriers to entry for PC gaming like absurd regional pricing that resulted in essentially no sales.

No one disagrees with Epic having a lower cut. Epic also has far less overhead than Valve does and also rakes in over twice the money because of licensing fees for their engine and because they operate the worlds biggest child ATM – Fortnite.

What they disagree with are Epic’s disingenuous business practices, how they snipe games from most wanted lists, refuse to develop their store into anything resembling a functional gaming utility, and how they’re in bed witrh the Chinese government and Tencent. Completely disinterested in China’s constant human rights violations, for example.

    1. “and how they’re in bed witrh the Chinese government and Tencent”

that hasnt aged well after the recent news about Steam and China.

      1. People say that because Tencent owns 40% of Epic. I’m sure this gives Tencent considerable leverage within Epic but Sweeney still owns controlling interest in Epic. I doubt anything is going on inside Epic without his approval.
