As we already informed you, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are working on a new open-world Star Wars title. Lucasfilm Games will provide guidance and assistance in this project. Unfortunately, this open-world Star Wars game is still quite far away.
According to Ubisoft’s CEO, they are at the early stage of development, meaning it will probably take several years. You probably shouldn’t expect the game any sooner than 2023.
However, let’s not forget this is Ubisoft, a company that releases major titles every couple of years. Hopefully they will put more time and effort into the development, and release something great and unique.
I mean we are talking about Star Wars, which is among the highest grossing film franchises in the world. Even though the last three films were disappointing.
However, the latest Star Wars TV show, The Mandalorian, was quite enjoyable. And of course, we had some exceptional games in the past, such as the Knights of the Old Republic I & II.
According to Lucasfilm Games, a team of professionals will work with Massive, in order to “shape the stories, shape the creative, shape the games, to make them really resonate with fans and deliver across a breadth of platforms, genres, and experiences so that all of our fans can enjoy the IPs that they know and love”.
Lastly, Massive Entertainment is also working on an Avatar game based on James Cameron’s blockbuster movie, which is scheduled to be released in March 2023.

All five Disney Star Wars movies were so. Rogue One wasn’t so bad by Disney Star Wars standards but Solo: A Star Wars Story was a catastrophe. So appalling that Disney achieved the feat of losing money on a Star Wars movie! How the mighty have fallen.

A lot of people say that The Last Jedi was bad. That is not true. All of the films were equally bad.
Krazy Kathleen, Jar Jar Abrams and Ruin Johnson have been utterly hopeless.
It really shouldn’t take that that long. I mean… they pretty much just can edit the assassin’s creed engine and then create all the art/assets then liter the map with the same 3 quests-80 times and load it up with 5000 scattered collectibles. I honestly have no hype or expectations for this game. Also don’t forget to throw in a slide when the game boots up about how the game was made by a team with over 40 genders so i feel good about playing it on a switch as i sit down to take a piss LOL
yess, if its open world single player it will be almost the same as A*s creed, if its online just look at The Division, if its single player but insist to go online then Watch Dogs Legion will become its template. it is not difficult where Ubisoft will go with this
