And here is another game delay. Techland has just announced that Dying Light 2 has been delayed and will not come out in Spring 2020. Not only that, but the game does not have any release date window, meaning that we may now see it in 2021.
According to the development team, Dying Light 2 is its biggest project to date. As such, and in order to fulfill its vision, the team has decided to delay it. Similarly to what all other developers claimed for their delays, Techland will use these extra months so it can further polish the game.

Well it’s been on my wishlist on Steam since it was announced. If it goes EGS exclusive then it’s just another game I will get for free.
They will Never go EGS. This ain’t Metro Exodus and their BS Publisher Deep Silver. Techland self publishes and they’ve supported Dying Light 1 Till this day.
Hard to believe they are still releasing content and patches to this day. For a game that’s almost 5 years old, and mostly focused on single-player.

It’s a good idea to do so and what I thought about cyberpunk also… they just can’t mention it since a lot of players might scream about it yet if they release poorly optimized current gen versions now and then next gen launch versions less thana year afterward those same players would also screama nd complain about “having to buy the game all over again now that they have ps5” even though nobody forced them to not choose to wait for that version. yet, they won’t do the same screaming and complaining every single time rockstar and take number 2 does this with gta or red dead just like they used to give betehsda free passes as well. but anyways, blame the vocal minorities that shriek the loudest for the silence about it. a few rotten apples always spoil the bunch.

Nah My old friend. I didn’t even finish Doom 2016. Found the game to be extremely boring. Which is sad because that game had a lot of content with level editor. Those finishing moves in order to get back health and ammo really ruined the pace of the game for me. All this cinematic rubbish in video games drives me nuts. Imagine watching a movie in the theatre and they hand you a controller half way through and say, “play to get the next scene”, I’d throw that controller in their face an get my money back. When i’m watching a movie, i wanna watch a movie, when it’s time for a game i wanna actually play the game and do schitt myself.
Not saying Doom 2016 wasn’t a good game, i just enjoyed Shadow Warrior 2 more, i did hate the borderland-esque/RPG elements in Shadow warrior 2 though. But the combat was just better and Multi-dimensional. Who knows maybe i need a new hobby or just leave haming behind all together, because the games nowadays are trash to me, no innovation, nothing exciting. Maybe it’s me 🙁

This is why when I hear a new game is coming out and they have a release date I NEVER ever believe in that date. I’m GLAD these developers are taking their time fixing bugs, changing things making the games they make Better for the audience. Yes delays suck of course they do but if these developers just start releasing games that are not polished enough people will complain. Just look at Red Dead Redemption 2, that game was not delayed for the PC at all, Rockstar set a release date and they followed it BUT the game is in not so good shape.
Cyberpunk, Dying Light 2 and Doom Eternal were the only ones on my list before summer. Two down, one to go..
