Resident Evil 3 Remake is almost finished

Resident Evil 3 Remake producer Masao Kawada and Peter J. Fabiano recently spoke with Famitsu regarding their upcoming Resident Evil game. They talked about the main characters Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira and also about the main antagonist, which is none other than the Nemesis, also known as Pursuer. Why is he called the Pursuer you might ask. Well, it’s simple, all  S.T.A.R.S. members must be pursued and killed.

Resident Evil 3 has more rearranged elements compared to Resident Evil 2.

The main concept of the game is basically the same, you are being hunted. In Resident Evil 2 Remake you were being hunted by the T-103 Tyrant, or better known as Mr. X. Though he was mostly confined within the area of the Raccoon city police department. He was more of a nuisance than a threat and you could easily avoid him completely if you were careful.

The concepts for the game are the fear of being pursued, using the process of escaping a base, Jill’s beauty, and depicting the fear of Nemesis known as the “Pursuer.”

The Nemesis is different, because he is actively pursuing you and you must escape him. You cannot hide or fight, your only option is to flee. Sometimes you had to choose what to do in specific sections and depending on your choice it could led towards a different path. At least that’s how it was in the original game and I doubt they will change that. They already stated that the remake will mostly follow the original.

Capcom not only rearranged Carlos’ appearances but also his personality. However, he likes joking around and talking idly, but the part about him actually being nice doesn’t change much. He connects with Jill through an organization called U.B.C.S., but he’s the kind of character that overflows with kindness and cares for his allies from the U.B.C.S. He’s a passionate man and there’s a scene that really shows it in the game.

As for our beloved Jill Valentine, they developers took caution not to ruin her image. Since the game is more action orientated, they didn’t want her to look uncomfortable during intense action being in a skirt. Of course you can still change her outfit since they will include her original outfit as bonus content.

As for Brad Vickers, we want you to see him in the game, but circumstances have changed a bit. He’s been doing all kinds of work together with his remaining buddies of S.T.A.R.S.

Resident Evil 2 Remake highlighted the fear of zombies while Resident Evil 3 Remake will highlight the action. The game is 90% complete and will release on April 3rd this year.

Thanks Famitsu and Siliconera.

  1. Another quality game from Capcom, polished on day 1 with no required future patches. Meanwhile we have no idea whether Cyberpunk 2077 exists without in-engine footage which is supposedly launching in less than two weeks after RE3.

      1. I never forget that E3 trailer for the Witcher 3 that said in-game footage and people still blame Ubisoft for WD and The Division. people are quick to forget lies once you dangle “FREE DLC” in front of their eyes. DLC that should have been in the game in the first place. CDPR are overrated. still a decent studio with a few exceptional talents in it.

        1. I just rewatched the E3 gameplay and the end result wasnt anything close to Watchhdogs level of BS. Also the aid DLC for Witchher 3 was SUPER worth it. Not like Skyrim horse armor BS

    1. yeah cyberpunk is questionable in terms of how finish it is, but this is just a reskin of re2. It even uses alot of areas.

      1. Not even close lol, RPD in RE3 is barely 20% of the game. Reusing assets like Guns ? (e.g. the knife is the same), yeah sure. But areas ?

    1. That would be insane! DMC 5 is awesome and really good so I be happy with more of that and a follow up and a new DMC 6 instead if the remakes are not on the table just like RE. Either way yes to all of it!

    2. Doubt it. DMC is still too complex for mainstream reviewers & audience as proven by the reluctance of most people not putting it in the top 10 games of 2019 lists.

Capcom didn’t even give us the fckn Vergil DLC.

    3. How about some new IP’s/Experiences? No? Just the same tired ole CLUNK FEST? The same Clunk fest which is used to hinder the player and then call it a challenge in 2020. Yes because when i move my mouse to aim, the character moves 2.5 secs later, because that’s realistic right? Jesus man………….

      1. LOL, can’t argue with that even if I love the RE2 remake and want more. It’s tough Man I hear you and that be cool(new IP’s) but so many AAA just refuse to take a risk and it’s ends up to indie devs to fill in that void which seems backwards to Me.

I am solo indie dev and I am using My life’s savings on My game and am risking everything yet a AAA refuses to do the same and they have the money, resources, security and everything else you could want to back a new IP but don’t. Seem crazy if you ask Me, I don’t get it. Of course a sure thing is nice for reports but where is the R&D of new IPs to pu back in the pool?

Capcom is not someone I want to hate on(there are way worse) and I really like DMC5, RE2 remake and MHW but yeah it be really nice if every year they take a risk with at least one new IP and that goes for all AAA’s out there.

        1. Resident evil 4 remake would be great as far as remakes go. Hell 5 too they could fix it up a little. The game was pretty damn good but had a few problems they could address.

    4. I feel sad for you and anyone who upvoted this trash, there is nothing wrong with those games, especially 3, 2 is trash so they can do whatever they want to it. That being said if they touch 3 they gonna ruin it, they probably gonna dumb down the combat and change the way some characters look like the lady.

Id say remake dino crisis instead, but i dont want them to ruin it.

  2. “The Nemesis is different, because he is actively pursuing you and you must escape him. You cannot hide or fight, your only option is to flee. ”

So how you get the gunparts?

Man this game is a reboot not a remake.
