Rumour alert everyone. Some new details about WB Montreal’s new Batman game may have leaked online. According to the rumour, this new Batman game will be called Batman: Arkham Legacy. Moreover, it will allow players to play as the whole bat family.

This information comes from E3 2019’s leaker, Sabi. Now the reason we’re sharing this Batman rumour is because Sabi was able to leak almost everything about E3 2019. Sabi basically leaked everything that Microsoft, Bethesda and Nintendo announced at E3 2019. Not only that, but Nintendo’s lawyers got in touch with Sabi after her E3 2019 Nintendo Direct leaks. So yeah, this insider appears to be a trustworthy source (at least for now).
What’s also interesting here is that the official reveal of Batman: Arkham Legacy may be just around the corner. Batman: Arkham Origins’ anniversary is on October 25th, so Warner Bros may reveal this new Batman game later this week.
Since nothing is set on stone yet, I strongly suggest taking everything you’ve read with a grain of salt. Warner Bros may not announce anything at all on October 25th, though this seems unlikely. After all, the publisher teased this new Batman game last month during Batman’s 80th anniversary.

Well it’s they add MP I hope people haven’t forgotten what happened Arkham Origins. That HAD MP & they liked the servers, so now you get half the game you paid for. But hey, people never learned. Co-op is what that game needs, NOT MP

If it’s true I do hope they make each of the Bat family members feel truly unique from one another. I have always feel disappointed playing with other characters like Catwoman, Nightwing and Joker across Arkham games. They feel like reskinned Batman with slightly different attributes and I rushed through all of their sections due to disinterest.

They had their own chapters (most of them are events after the main game) and cameos in the main story. But, having them switching around kinda what AC Syndicate did with quests tied to a character would be interesting. There’s also a mod that let you freeroam with any character.
Hopefully they do a well interconnected storyline, e.g. start with Batman, play to a certain point, then play 3 hours earlier with Robin, etc.
Cool, I want to believe and I really hope it still has a SP option plus offline mode if it has MP.
If they go always online, forced MP and a service I am out. Like others said optional co-op is where it is at not MP + sever.
If this is going the MP/Co-op way how they did in Origin…i am cool…if they go sorta top down like how Marvel Alliance is…Am out.

Arkham Knight and City were great games, but I would love a return to the more self contained metroidvania style of Asylum. I would love a return to that form.
