The Farm 51 has announced a free weekend for its multiplayer military first-person shooter, World War 3. From June 20th and until June 23rd, PC gamers will be able to download the game from Steam and play it for free.
According to the developers, the free weekend will allow players to play in the Polyarny map; a map that has been optimized to run much better now and give everyone a better experience.
World War 3 aims to feature strong teamplay, national armed forces, real locations, full body awareness and a versatile customization system that will contribute to the authenticity of the modern combat experience enhanced by other essential elements such as a robust ballistic system, advanced armors and life-like weapons.
It’s worth noting that a lot of early buyers were disappointed by the lack of communication as TheFarm 51 was silent for a long time, however it appears that the team is back on track and tries to further overhaul its title.

We’ve had games come and be pulled before though.
I can’t even discern between all this “multiplayer” schlock anymore. It’s all so bland, boring, uninspired, and just downright crap. I can’t even bring myself to devote “time”, much less any money, to all this trash.

Haven’t heard good things about this title.
I remember how all the way to launch on every video for this game comment sections were filled with “this is what Battlefield shouldve been” then theg ame launched ot like 100 players. Supposedly now you cant even find enough people to play a single match.
Developers dropped the ball when it comes to server infrastructure, that’s what killed the game on launch.
This game is done for. They should just stop wasting their money with this. It’s an inferior title even compared to BF3. Period.
DICE set the bar really high for this kind of games. It’s very hard to make something better.
Even Insurgency Sandstorm was pretty much DOA and now it’s on the way to become a wasteland!
