Focus Home Interactive has released a new video, showing 8 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from A Plague Tale: Innocence. This trailer showcases world-first footage of a brand new level, showing off a little more of what the game has to offer- careful use of the environment, puzzle-solving, and how light, darkness, and the rats are friend and foe in tandem.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is the brand new own-IP title from Asobo Studio, bringing their veterancy in game development to a moving story of adventure and bonding through the darkest hours of history.
This trailer is just a taste of everything that awaits in the full-game, where your wits, your ability to explore, Amicia’s crafting skills, and her partnership with Hugo are all that will keep the pair alive.
The game is currently scheduled for a May 14th release.
Enjoy!

The fact that I want my 8 minutes back speaks volumes to the level of interest I currently have for this game.
Looks quite interesting.
Agreed, always good to try something new.
This looks pretty great
Boring as f*k.
The gameplay looks very easy..but the story, and the setting seems interesting…love the rats tech!
Kinda reminds you of Dishonored, doesn’t it?
Will this be the first “real” GOTY contender from Focus Home Interactive? since they always publish mediocre and average game, but this one look different…
Not a fan of their work so far. Insurgency sandstorm, however, is pretty good.
Can’t wait to play this. I hope the story is as good as the trailer let’s us believe
Look’s good!
Looks quite generic, but I’ll have to test it myself and see.
I said it some months ago, it looked kinda like TLOU (which i don´t have any particular interest about, even having great review scores) that time, but got my attention.
Now it looks something between Alan Wake (which i don´t have any particular interest about, even having great review scores) and TLOU, but this game keeps getting my attention and people are getting hyped. I really think this game promises.
