Brilliant Game Studios has shared a new video, featuring ten minutes of gameplay footage from The Black Masses. The Black Masses is described as an open world first-person fantasy co-op RPG, featuring the team’s next generation of crowd rendering technology rebuilt from Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator.
Players will be able to explore a 16 square kilometer island populated by hundreds of thousands of possessed inhabitants. Players will escape the hordes by traversing buildings and obstacles with a new parkour system, or face them head on with powerful abilities and immersive first person combat.
Brilliant Game Studios aims to release the game via Early Access in Spring 2019.
Enjoy!

The weapon swings need more work, the way it swings doesn’t seem impactful or as to how you would actually swing a heavy axe.
Fps looks kinda rough with those big crowds. Something to keep on the radar though.
even if it looks more with ashen or something else, all the gameplay made me think only at senua hellblade
The gore system is a bit poor, and those zombies getting covered in blood from head to toe its a bit old school, it would benefit as well from a bit more variation on the zombies, they all look too similar.
Should be 3rd person.
Why do these companies keep getting it wrong? Shooters, 1st person… Melee combat, 3rd person. They keep reversing it in some need to be unique.
melee combat always look so stupid in first person lol. only game i liked it was dark messiah
Looks like they are straight up using skyrim assets for world objects?
