New screenshots and trailer for Darksiders 3

THQ Nordic has released some new screenshots and a trailer for its upcoming a hack-n-slash action-adventure, Darksiders 3. In Darksiders 3, players will return to an apocalyptic planet Earth where they will take on the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins.

FURY is a mage, her form evolving throughout gameplay and with it, her powers and weaponry. The expansive Darksiders III game world is presented as an open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth, dilapidated by war and decay, and overrun by nature. FURY will traverse back and forth between environments, battling other-worldly creatures and unlocking puzzles while advancing the Darksiders story.

THQ Nordic has provided us with a review code so we’ll be sure to share our initial performance impressions when the embargo lifts on November 26th so stay tuned for more!

  1. good thing about her armor design is that it shows that she cares about protecting her titys, that’s what matters, protecting bobs and veganas should be priority.

  2. what the fck is wrong with this music btw?are they aware she has two brothers called death and war?not to mention her own name is fury. it’s like playing death metal on a birthday of a 7 years old girl.

    1. Agree, the music is really out of place, even America’s more grundgy version will not fit, and this pu**y cover is worse

    2. Gotta be a hipster…
They could very well have started with that, and make it fade and turn into some nasty metal with a killing frenzy.

    1. Not 100% prequel tho, it’s happening while War was kept by the council after his death in the prologue, and it wasn’t meh, a lot more variety in the situations, weapons, powers, abilities, puzzles and environements, a more complexe character upgrades, more dynamic combats, i think it feels like a real sequel, it has flaws tho, i think the story was one of them, and also pacing (due to open areas), bugs, optimizations issues, but overall it was a really good game

      1. Dude that game was so repettive with so much padding that its padding had more padding in it.

“,a more complexe character upgrades, more dynamic combats”

Complete unnecessary rpg grinding that didnt belong in this game and made the combat easier since you always have health on you and you can level up your character in the side dungeons.

“i think it feels like a real sequel, ”

i think it doesnt even feel like the same game, its like someone saw soul reaver which has alot of padding and backtracking, then played borderlands which also has alot of padding and grinding and then decided to mix them both together in dungeons that are as bland and repetitive as bethesda’s dungeons.

        1. The first one had a lot of backtracking too, especially if you want to aquire the most powerful and rare stuff, backtracking done well is not that bad, and i think it’s done well on both games.
The RPG grinding on the other side fits well to the game and adds some depth to the combat when playing at high difficulties, you know that RPG stuff always f*cks up a game at some point when playing on easy or even normal, the dungeons too are for the most part not that repetitive, different puzzles, ennemies and bosses and interesting loot, and most dungeons have some writing background that makes them tied to the lore.
The biggest problem of the game is that it lacks polish on both vanilla and Deathfinitive edition, while first DS reached the end of it development, but it surpasses the first one on a lot of things (Main character, Art direction, variety, Jesper Kyd’s OST…)
Anyway since it’s done by the same devs, i can accept their new vision easily, but i’m a lot more sceptical about this 3rd entry :

          1. DarkSiders the 1st is a very good game but the 2nd is extremely boring with so much nonsense specially the out of place loot, damn the loot is super over exaggerated, 24hrs of doing the same thing. Let’s hope DarkSiders III is going to be more or better than the 1st and nothing like the 2nd.

          2. I think it will be more like the 1st than the 2nd one but with new devs and less budget, so don’t take it for granted, actually if it has half quality of the 2nd that would be huge news. Anyway, for the loot thing, don’t have to be 24h looting everytime, it’s not like other real RPG games where everything is tied to loot and grind, you can complete the main story without that, it’s here, if you want it serve yourself, if you don’t want it, just follow the yellow marker on the map, personally i liked it, and it’s perfectly understandable that you don’t like it, but you can avoid that easily, it’s not like Dragon Age Inquisition for example where you have to grind and do boring quests to unlock main quests.
Overall i think DS2 tried things, tried to be bigger and was risky at the time, and i respect that.

          3. Gunfire Games: The development team consists largely of former Vigil
Games employees whose previous work includes development of the first two Darksiders games. Let’s hope for the best, but not going to buy the game right now i’ll wait for the complete version with all the paches and DLC’s.

          4. But they lack a lot of former important lead designers that went to different studios after the THQ bankruptcy, that doesn’t mean the game will be bad for sure, but i’m still really sceptical, of course even if the game is good, waiting for a more complete version is a wise decision, finger crossed for a good game
