GOG has just launched its Winter Sale and PC gamers can find a lot of titles at great discounts. Moreover, and for the next 48 hours, GOG is giving away Grim Fandango Remastered. Yeap, this remastered version of Double Fine’s classic adventure game is available for free.

GOG’s Winter Sale features 500+ deals with up to 90% discounts. New games will be featured on a daily basis and this Sale event will end on December 26th.
GOG is offering today Cuphead with a 15% discount, Torment: Tides of Numenera with a 50% discount, The Witcher 3 with a 60% discount and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice with a 25% discount.
PC gamers can also get Absolver and Shadow Warrior 2 with a 50% discount, Tyranny with a 60% discount, Ruiner and Observer with a 33% discount and Torchlight 2 with a 80% discount.

What is it with this “Buy a Star for $3” “A Mystery Game In Every Star” thing on their front page? Is it like a loot box but with a game inside and you might get a good game or you might get a turd?
I wonder too if you can refund your star if you wind up with a turd?
They say there’s no game worth less than 5 dollars. BHeing a business which needs to make some money to stay afloat, you bet most games will go towards the 5 dollars mark, but when they say there will be some worth 40 dollars, I believe them.
Admittedly though, this is kind of inappropriate after the lootboxes scandals of the past couple of weeks.
