  1. still don’t see any reason to pay 15$ when you have starcraft 2 and can just install
    starcraft mass recall

it’s practically the same thing but better (much better, unless they also remastered the godawful cinematics)

      1. ahh i get what you mean, like gameranger which tricks the system and hosts games internationally while still being considered “LAN”

though i still don’t see why SC2 needs such a thing considering we got working online (mods maybe?)

      2. Hey. For old people like me LAN play and local co-op is still a thing. It takes us to the good old days.

Though we tend to collapse and fall asleep over the keyboard far earlier than before.

    1. Well, Activision Blizzard must pay 2 million euros to Spain because tax evasion, so paying for a remaster (that are usually free if you own the original) is an easy way to make money

        1. Especially in light of the ridiculous amount of millions (which is probably billions, really) that they’ve evaded being taxed on for over a decade, now.

  2. Assuming they didn’t get anything wrong I don’t know about, THIS is how you “remaster” a game. You release the exact same game, no changes to gameplay, with improved technology but retaining the original art style. Now people can play the official game with contemporary resolutions etc. Could it have been a free patch? Maybe, but that’s business. The important part is that they did the game RIGHT. Whether you accept the price and are willing to pay is a wholly different issue. The price is subject to change over time so you can just wait if you think it’s too expensive. If they had messed the gameplay or art style up then time wouldn’t fix that, would it?
