Gigantic leaves Early Access and is now fully available

Perfect World Entertainment and Motiga announced today Gigantic has officially launched on Steam, Arc, Xbox One and Windows 10. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also released the game’s launch trailer that can be viewed below.

Gigantic is a free-to-play strategic hero shooter that combines visually stunning heroes, diverse creature families to summon and massive Guardians to aid in epic battles for victory.

Chris Chung, CEO of Motiga, said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome all players to the vibrant world of Gigantic. The team has worked incredibly hard to develop an experience unlike any other. We hope you join us and the community of players who have fallen in love with the game and helped us throughout its development.”

Gigantic launches with an exciting new update which introduces text chat, new packs and a brand-new, blade-wielding hero. Players can now access the game’s 19th hero, Ramsay, a cunning heavy-hitter brandishing a seriously lethal blade. Ramsay is the first of many characters to join the game’s original diverse roster, with a new hero planned for release each month following launch.

In addition, Steam players who log in to the game and play a match will receive an exclusive Stone Relics skin for the jet pack pilot Beckett. Logging into Arc and playing a match will grant players a Lightning skin for the stealthy assassin Tripp, while Xbox One and Windows 10 players who do the same can get the Excelsior skin for the spinning cyclone of blades, Tyto the Swift.

Enjoy!

  1. Keeping skins separate from Steam and Win 10 is a dumb idea when you consider that the game is on PC. I know MS is trying to treat Win 10 like a special little snowflake but that honestly doesn’t do anything for the OS.

Characters in the trailer look alright, but the majority of their attacks look rather much the same. Compared to Moba’s like LoL and Heroes of the Storm, where each character has a unique defined attack stance, weapon and attack pattern, not to mention the flair they give off when using their abilities. A good chunk of the characters in the trailer were up close and swiping bots/players, with the exception of the spellcaster and sharp shooter.

  2. crap game that gets tons of coverage… when MXM (Master x Master) has received none from this site as far as im aware. mxm is a pc only title and gicraptic is a console game as well…..

      1. Talking of other games, Lone Echo was released earlier today so I’ll be looking out for reviews now that I finally bought a VR device.

        1. I’ve almost entirely lost my interest in flat monitor games. VR is what I want now. I had a Vive for a few months and it completely changed me.

  3. I want to play an arena combat game where you’re a farm animal and have to scratch, kick, claw, quack your way to victory. You can be a pig, a goat, a duck, a horse, .etc. Someone make it happen.
