Forza Motorsport 7 – Official PC System Requirements

Microsoft has revealed the official PC requirements for Forza Motorsport 7. According to the PC specs, PC gamers will need at least an modern-day Intel quad-core CPU with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GT740 or NVIDIA GTX650 or and AMD R7 250X graphics card.

What’s also interesting here is that Microsoft recommends an Intel i5 4460 3.2GHz with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX670 or NVIDIA 1050Ti graphics card. Pretty low PC requirements, meaning that owners of GPUs equivalent to the GTX980Ti will most likely be able to run the game in 4K with 60fps. Or at least that’s our guess.

      1. Ugh.. No it’s not ? Imo, a 1080Ti is a good card. A 1050Ti is an entry level for either money tight people or people that do not care about gfx and only want their pc to just work.

        My opinion.

    1. My 970 will play it max settings 30+ fps 4k but i dotn care about it because it is a racing game and not a fps or a fighter or a action game.

  1. Well i guess they learned from forza 6 “stutterfest” apex and after the amazing forza horizon 3 patch that made the game playable finally and i guess the xbox one x aiming for 4k 60fps is also the reason for such low requirements

  2. NVIDIA GT 740 or NVIDIA GTX 650 or AMD R7 250X

Woah, and I thought my 750 Ti is already obsolete

  3. With such low requirement (as compared to most PC games these days) I would only assume it’s going to be highly optimised title.

  4. NEW FEATURES – compared to Forza Motorsport Apex / Horizon 3

    Graphics
    – photogrammetry
    – dynamic cube maps,
    – image based lighting system
    – updated car materials to 4K
    – cloud shadows

    Gameplay
    – dynamic weather (lightning storm on the horizon moving closer to the track the as the race goes on)
    – dynamic puddles
    – 700 cars (FM6: 450, FM5: 200)
    – support of new “clubs API” from Xbox Live

BTW – Forza Horizon 3 is on -50% sale this week

    1. “Forza Horizon 3 is on -50% sale this week”
…only to those with a Xbox Live Gold paid subscription.

        1. And what happens once those 14 days are over? Will the whole of the game including all online aspects still be accessible?

          1. Forza will be yours forever. But you get also 3 more extra free games where are different rules:

            – free Xbox One Watch Dogs (playable only when you have Gold)
            – free Xbox One/360 Assassins Creed 3 (permanent)
            – free Xbox One/360 Dragon Age Orgins (permanent)

So if your Gold ends you stay with Forza, AC3, DAO but your WD will be blocked

          2. You’re heavily promoting Microsoft once more. Oh, and you didn’t give a clear definitive answer to my straightforward question.

          3. You’re right, they are not free. You pay 3 usd for three games: Watch Dogs, Assassins 3 and Dragon Age Orgins. So each ot those games will cost you 1 usd. So you’re right “not free” but cheap

          4. one of those games you renting for 2 weeks only, two other are past generation titles with x360 graphics.

          5. That games are only extra bonus for your 3 usd, Main reason is 50% sale on all Forza games. So you pay 30 usd instead of 60 usd. You can also buy car pack for 50% less money.

      1. I have gold… so I don’t saw this. But you can buy “14-days GOLD” for less than 3 usd (you will get exta free ‘Assassin 3, Watch Dogs, Dragon Age Orgins)

        1. Are you here to promote Microsoft and/or Microsoft-owned properties? Every one of your four comments thus far appear to be doing so.

      1. He’s either a Microsoft fanboy with limited reading comprehension (or doesn’t understand English very well) or it’s a bot.

  5. Interesting that Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex both had a ‘recommended’ system memory requirement of 12GB whereas it’s 8GB for this game.

    1. Forza Horizon – arcade open world game
Forza Motorsport – sim close circuit game

      Xbox
      2013 Forza Motorsport 5 – 1080p 60fps
      2014 Forza Horizon 2 – – 1080p 30fps
      2015 Forza Motorsport 6 – 1080p 60fps
      2016 Forza Horizon 3 – – 1080p 30fps
      2017 Forza Motorsport 7 – 1080p 60fps
      ..

All Forza Motorsport games always have 2x more FPS than any Forza Horizon game. If you have for example 40fps in Forza Horizon 3 then in Forza Motorport you will get around 80 fps.

      1. Yes, I’m aware of the frame-rates of these two related franchises on Xbone. Your little list omits to mention the PC versions, where applicable, which aren’t limited to 30fps in any instance.

Quite what your list has to do with my original comment pertaining to system memory is a mystery.

          1. Read my original comment. Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is not an “open world game”.

  6. Why they are not showing like last games where it had resolution, frame rate, and 3 tiers of requirements?
No AMD processor neither graphics card equivalence?

  7. Maybe this xbox one x hardware change will provide PC with better optimized titles in the future, i guess thats a good thing if it proves to be true

  8. wasnt forza 6 higher in requirements?Recommended is just for 1080p/60 right these arnt the 4k/60fps ultra requirements?
