Sony Online Entertainment has released some new GDC2012 screenshots for their upcoming MMORPG, PlanetSide 2. Planetside 2 will harness the power of SOE’s next-generation Forgelight MMO engine; a true technological feat, as it is specifically created to bring all of the best in class features from the single player arena to next-gen MMOs. The game will be also powered by Nvidia’s PhysX technology. Planetside 2’s release date remains TBA and will be free-to-play. Enjoy!
