Crytek To Announce Two New Titles At This Year’s E3

It seems that Crytek’s E3 plans have just been leaked. According to one of our sources, that for obvious reasons wishes to stay anonymous, Crytek will be showing two new titles at this year’s E3. One of them is called Project Grave and the other one is called Arena of Fate.

Although we don’t have enough information for Project Grave (and we don’t know whether it will be a multi-platform title or not), we do know that Arena of Fate will be a PC-only game (most probably a free-to-play title powered by CRYENGINE).

Arena of Fate will be developed by Crytek Black Sea, the Bulgarian studio acquired by the German company in 2008, and will be focused on Multiplayer action.

Is this Crytek’s answer to Unreal Tournament? Or is this a MOBA title? We’ll soon find out.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

      1. I’m hoping that they keep the same type of game play from the first one and if it has the graphic fidelity as ryse that will be a great game

    1. Yeah hopefully soon. It’s been a while since we have heard anything about this since they bought the franchise from THQ.

        1. Agreed. And Crysis 3 was just… garbage. Even on Hard I breezed through that game with the hardly anything more than the Hunting Bow and Cloak.

Not to mention it would crash at least once per session on me. It was easily the most unstable of the three and the least fun.

          1. Yeah, don’t forget that Crytek dropped all support for Crysis 3 after something like two months and a couple patches, plus they never optimized the game for PC. Not much happens in the game yet it was extremely CPU intensive for no good reason. And remember the rope physics bug they somehow missed? Uhg.

Okay, I’m done complaining for now. I’m still a little bitter that I actually gave Crytek my money.

          2. Garbage? No, it had some nice levels and some nice weapons with the bow and arrows and stealth mechanics but thats that. There wants a long campaign there wasnt variety, it wasnt well designed or polished the ai was broken at times and it was forgetable.

Seems like each time crytek put less and less effort into their games.

Crysis 2 was fun, but it ended up being a linear undergound corridor alien shooter as opposed to expanding and becoming a open world game with vehicles like the first, from that? i enjoyed crysis 3 more.

So like i said combine the first and second and you got a great game.

            Far cry is still superior.

  1. I think I’ve lost faith in Crytek. They started strong as a PC supporter, but then lost total interest in that platform. Now they make console games. It’s like having a wonderful uncle with infinite potential turn to alcoholism. It makes me sad 🙁

    1. honestly after far cry they put less effort each time, they can do something amazing with homefront 2, with big open maps but noooooooooooooooo they gonna make it like a cod ripoff, i bet my lfe on it.

They even had the last of us at some point and they cancellled it becuase playtesters didnt care about the girl they just wanted to kill stuff. How the times have changed. Now they shove story and charactarezation and sex scenes in wolfenstein as if that pixelly bj face on WOLF3D is a “character” and needs to have alot of dialogues and story behind him.

    2. Besides ,their pc games were awesome and high rated like Far Cry or Crysis ,crysis 1 could’ve been a cult oeuvre if it wouldn’t got that console port which is the one that people think about when you name crysis.
Their console games are just plain awful ,crysis 2 and 3 are fails ,Ryse is damn boring.

      1. Actually they know about Crysis PC . Everyone talked about that game back in 2007. Crysis port on consoles is terrible , it is not even the same game.

      2. Crysis 2 and 3 has really good gun play though, 3 being a lot better game but just short, Crysis 1 you could just do so much and not feel like you were forced along a path and if you look, there are different ways to get to were you wanted to go.

Crysis 1 just felt like and open world game, go do what you want ,you dont have to get to the check point by X time, play how you want in what style

  2. Not interested . One is going to be F2P game , other is going to be multiplatform tech demo . Yes , visually those games will look great but until they do something jaw dropping like Original Crysis only on PC(which is not going to happen) , I’m not interested .
    Witcher 3 gameplay please .

  3. Oh dear Crytek, Epic Games are starting to take your crown, you have nothing against Unreal Tournament 4 for PC only. I like Cryek’s engine tech but there games have been full of fail since Crysis 1, that being still the daddy as far as I’m concerned.

I’d be happy with a Crysis 1 release using CE3 and all the tech they used in Crysis 2,3, I’d buy it and I bet a lot of PC users would as well, not like the console Crysis 1 watered down version they put out and that POS Crysis 2 DX9 release. Don’t get me wrong, Crysis 3 is technically brilliant but just doesn’t have the epicness and vastness of Crysis 1 that made it special.

    1. atleast the ai the suit and guns are more polished, those things in crysis 1 barelly worked.

The ai bugged up often the suit run out of energy fast and the weapons were crap.

Lets see crysis 2-3 pistols and assault rifles or crysis 1 ? I think the answer is clear.
