Bethesda has released a new trailer for Quake Wars, focusing on the Anarki champion. Anarki can use his hoverboard in air so he can avoid missiles and other projectiles, and has the ability to recover health (via injections). Enjoy!
Thomas is a close friend to John ‘john2’ and John ‘WhatGoesAroundComesAround’. Thomas, John and John basically came with the idea of DSOGaming. Thomas has been helping John with News articles these past years, and prefers to stay in the background than the foreground.
Chalk another one up for the bad pun fad.
I can almost envision this dialog happening:
Dev1: “We’re going to have this one champion who’s going to be a real anarchist but we can’t call him that, we gotta think of some clever name for him.”
Dev2: “Let’s call him Anarki”.
Dev3: “Cool idea, dude-bro”.
Well, Anarki as a character dates back to Q3, that’s true, but this version of him, with the horrendous puns & the mohawk, is a tragedy, compared to the original, sadly.
I mean, yeah, bots used to diss you in Q3, but that was in text, which you could utterly ignore. This, is just tragic, & it’s going to get on everyone’s nerves if there’s no disable feature “because we like it too much” or whatever-the-f*ck.
Also, they removed the skull from his hoverboard in favour of…… a fan.
Yay?
“Going strong and flying high, bro! Ohooo! That was gooood!” – that game most definitely was developed for prepubescent teens.
Not looking that good but hey it’s still better than Oversnatch.
This is not Quake anymore.
Now is more like Quackwatch.
UIghhhh, back to the loch with you Nessie.

Oh dear. Seemingly targeted at the esports crowd of teenaged boys.
