Wargaming today announced that Update 9.4 for World of Tanks has released in North America and Europe, and will go live in Asia and Korea on November 6th. The newest update introduces significant improvements to Strongholds, reworked Team Battles mode, and a new historical map Stalingrad, an extremely realistic imagining of 1942 Stalingrad.
Strongholds and the structures that produce Reserves for a Clan have been extended to level 10. In addition, Clans now have the ability to seek out and attack other Clan Strongholds and each Clan is able to designate specific times where they are available to defend opposing Clan attacks. Both of these actions can be completed by any Clan member.
Anton Pankov, Executive Publishing Producer at Wargaming, said:
“With Strongholds, we are creating an ecosystem for World of Tanks Clan players. We have continued to augment Strongholds with additional features since the release in 9.2, and plan to regularly develop content for the new metagame based heavily on player feedback.”
The all-new 7/54 mode format redesigns Team Battles play and adds 11 maps specifically adjusted for 7vs7 gameplay. The new setup will eliminate camping and low tier scout tanks from gameplay by requiring players to create a team of Tier 6–8 tanks adding up to a Tier total of 54. Each team will have a defined role in gameplay; the attacking team will attempt to capture one of the two enemy bases while the other one will defend those bases until the timer runs out or the opposing team has been destroyed.
Enjoy!

Hope it’ll come to steam
Like MWO I don’t think it will, at least not yet. WOT has it’s market and knows it does just like MWO. And you can even add Star Citizen to that list.
All because these are literally one track gamer ecosystems.
I am saying this not out of ignorance but from having both funded and played all 3.
Any time anyone mentions Steam, BOOM hysteria ensues.
There is some sort or stigma when it comes to these games ever being on Steam.
And well, I have in the past had a few of these players add me on Steam, guess what? They have like 5 or 20 games and their Steam account hasn’t been used until they added me. I know my numbers are not solid data but anytime it has been brought up, they go crazy for unknown reasons.
Even forum postings on the topic show how much they despise the idea.
I myself like a central system for all my gaming. IDK why they don’t.
All of them can give differing answers, but I see no reason as to why not.
This is just my opinion from what I have read and heard.
i tried to download it but i took me ages to hits 5% and i give up on steam download are very very fast
ill give it second chance today
You do know it’s 27GB don’t you? lol
ok i installed it but its too frustrated played it like 30 min if you die you need to wait or choose another tank
will it get better later on ?
When you die, play another tank.
Pick one nation that you like or the tanks you like, and play.
Keep playing. Do not rush. Go slow.
Learn how to drive and shoot etc.
It’s a fun game only ruined by “elite” wannabe pro players and % monkeys.
Otherwise game on.
