Ni no Kuni is fully playable on the latest version of the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3

The team behind the best Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3, has released a new video in which it demonstrated its latest version running Ni no Kuni. According to the team, Ni no Kuni is currently fully playable on RPCS3, meaning that PC gamers can now enjoy it.

As the team noted, and while the game has run well on RPCS3 on good systems for a long time, the recent graphical, performance and stability improvements that have been made to it have finally pushed it over the edge into the playable category.

To be honest, I prefer the first Ni no Kuni over its sequel (which was released on the PC). While Ni no Kuni 2 looks arguably better and closer to an anime, it introduced some new strategy elements that really disappointed me (and also killed the game’s pace).

Below you can find a video showing 24 minutes of gameplay footage from the emulated version of Ni no Kuni in 4K.

Enjoy!
