New trailers released for Bright Memory and Grimmstar, showcasing their ray tracing effects

NVIDIA has released two new trailers, showcasing the real-time ray tracing effects in Bright Memory and Grimmstar. Bright Memory is a first-person action shooting game, whereas Grimmstar is an action-packed space fighter/simulator.

In Bright Memory, players can control different styles of special abilities and create a set of gorgeous combos with combination of skills. The game tells an adventure story of Shelia of Natural Science Research Organization.

“2020, SRO discovered a material in an ancient sword which could recall dead creatures during an investigation of cultural relics crime. The third-party military organizations (SAI) infiltrated into SRO’s research institute and tried to grab the material. They changed the coordinates of the transmitter to the edge of Arctic where they found a land of sky that a large number of ancient creatures exist. SRO must stop SAI ‘s conspiracy and find out the truth.”

On the other hand, Grimmstar is a space game that packs action RPG and fleet management twists. Players will command the last fleet of mankind while you defend the stranded remnants of the human race. The game will feature a fully modular fighter, and players will be able to grow their forces.

To be honest, it’s really great witnessing such small-budget games taking advantage of Ray Tracing. Here is hoping that more and more developers will start using this tech.

Enjoy!
