It appears that a number of cinematics and character mocap videos for Diablo 4 have been leaked online. And while these videos may give you a glimpse at some of the game’s cinematics, they may contain spoilers. Therefore, consider this your spoiler warning.
These cinematics and character mocap videos were for internal use, which explains why they are in such a WIP state. Regardless of that, though, I’m certain that some Diablo fans may find them interesting.
Diablo IV will be an always-online game, and will not offer an offline mode. We also don’t know whether Blizzard will allow modders to enable an unofficial offline mode or not.
The game will also have cosmetic micro-transactions. Additionally, Blizzard is looking into enabling cross-play support between all platforms.
Blizzard plans to release this new Diablo game in 2023.
