Minecraft PC Surpasses 9 Million Sold Copies

Minecraft modded
Minecraft is a killer app, we already knew that. What’s interesting though is that the game’s sales are not slowing down at all. According to its official site, the PC version of Minecraft has sold over 9 million copies. Guess PC gaming is not dead after all, right? Nevertheless, it’s also astonishing how successful Minecraft, a game with low system requirements, can actually be. We’re also wondering whether a next-gen version of Minecraft would boost those numbers or not. Continue reading Minecraft PC Surpasses 9 Million Sold Copies

The Dark Knight Rises
Now this is something you all need to see. KBL1974 has informed us about his latest machinima movie, based on the Dark Knight (yeah, that’s Batman… but you already figured it out, didn’t you?). According to KBL1974, making this machinima was an arduous, but cathartic experience. This is also a tribute to Hans Zimmer, the great composer behind Batman: Begins’, The Dark Knight’s and The Dark Knight Rises’ scores. But anyway, this machinima looks cool as hell, so be sure to check it out! Continue reading GTAIV Dark Knight Persecution Is Perhaps The Best ‘GTA IV Batman’ Machinima You’ll Ever See

Big Crysis 3 Announcement Coming This Wednesday

Crysis 3 v3
Crytek has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – that it will announce something for Crysis 3 this Wednesday. Our guess is that the company will kick off the game’s open beta phase. Let’s not forget that Crysis 3 is planned for a February release, meaning that this open beta will act as a demo and – as you may have guessed – won’t be as useful as it was back in Crysis 1. Still, we kind of hope that Crytek will offer gamers the ability to play the new Hunted mode of it. So, stay tuned everyone for this incoming announcement and until then, enjoy – for one more time – CryEngine 3’s latest tech demo. Continue reading Big Crysis 3 Announcement Coming This Wednesday

There is no denying that Project CARS looks outstanding. However, a lot of our readers have been asking this simple question; why do the screenshots look better than the actual game and why all those fan-made trailers cannot come close to our featured screenshots?
