SumomGames has released a demo for its upcoming shump, Humans Must Answer. According to the development team, this demo features four levels in total, and will give you an idea of what the gameplay will be. However, the team stated that a number of the story elements are missing and since this is an early version, players won’t be able to combine weapons or gain access to many of them either. It seems that this week’s “SimCity” story will be dedicated to Bioshock: Infinite. In an awkward turn of events, 2K Games allowed IGN to break its review embargo for Irrational Games’ upcoming title and post a ‘in-progress’ review of it. Naturally, this exclusivity frustrated a lot of video-game journalists. In those frustrated journalists we can even find Geoff Keighley and Polygon’s Arthur Gies. Now that’s more like it. Gearbox unveiled today that a new update for the PC version of Aliens: Colonial Marines is now available and that it weights around 4GB in size. Yeap, you read that right. 4GB in size and is available as we speak. Gearbox has also released the changelog of this huge update, revealing that the enemy and friendly AI has been tweaked in order to be more aggressive and responsive. Hell bloody yeah. You can view the complete changelog below, so go ahead and take a look. The only downside is that Gearbox introduced a film grain filter that cannot be disabled. According to the developers, a new update might make this effect toggleable. Continue reading Aliens: Colonial Marines PC Gets A 4GB Update, AI Overhauled, Changelod Revealed→

Ah, Steam’s registry. Such a remarkable tool and it’s really great that most – if not all – of its leaked games are officially unveiled – at a later date – for the PC platform. A couple of months ago, it was revealed via that registry that Fez was coming to the PC. Fast forward and here we are today with a release date for that version. Yes, Fez is coming and will be released in May 1st. Continue reading Fez Is Coming To Steam, To Be Released In May 1st→
Nvidia has finally released a new beta driver for Tomb Raider, so it’s time to see how this title performs on the PC platform. The PC version of Tomb Raider was developed by Nixxes, the same studio that was behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Hitman: Absolution. DE:HR suffered from some minor stuttering issues, but was – generally speaking – an amazing PC version of a multi-platform game. Hitman: Absolution, on the other hand, suffered from optimization issues. Not only that, but some graphical effects of Hitman: Absolution were calculated by the CPU instead of the GPU. Truth be told, we were a bit worried about this whole thing and it appears that Tomb Raider also suffers from various optimization issues (though this time around, the CPU is not calculating any graphical effect).
Now that’s a big surprise. We all thought that Halo 3’s appearance in Steam’ registry was a big mistake, however there might be something going on in the background. After all, Microsoft’s title has just appeared in the latest profiles of AMD’s Catalyst drivers, suggesting that a release might be closer than we think. Spotted by our reader Sid Spyker Sabin Figaro (and thanks to Guru3D’s user kn00tcn), this profile was added to AMD’s Catalyst 13.3 Beta drivers.
