Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 feature

New anti-cheating tool coming to the PC version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this Wednesday

Bandai Namco has announced that it will release a new anti-cheating tool for the PC/Steam version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this Wednesday. What’s really cool here is that despite Bandai Namco’s previous claims of supporting the game for six months, the game is still being supported (almost a year after release).

According to Bandai Namco, this new anti-cheating tool is designed to stop online uses of boosters, gameplay alterations and various cheats contributing to an unfair online environment. This tool will scan the game’s binary files to ensure they are identical to the files delivered by the developers. The frequency is going to vary somewhat, but it will not have a performance impact.

Our guess is that Bandai Namco is currently adding this new anti-cheating tool to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 so that it can further test, improve and implement it in its upcoming fighting game, DRAGON BALL FighterZ.

Still, great news for all those playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2!
