Far Cry 6 Official PC System Requirements

Ubisoft has revealed the official PC system requirements for Far Cry 6. Moreover, the publisher released a new trailer that showcases the game’s PC graphical features.

Now what’s really cool here is that Ubisoft has also revealed the resolution, details and framerate that these PC specs target. This is something that more developers should start doing.

So, for gaming on Ultra settings at 1440p with 60fps, PC gamers will need an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or an Intel i5 10600K with 16GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX R6900XT or an NVIDIA RTX3070. The game will also come with an HD Texture Pack (which will weigh around 37GB), and will require at least 60GB of free hard-disk space.

For gaming on Ultra settings at 4K with 30fps, Ubisoft recommends an AMD Radeon RX 6800 or an NVIDIA RTX 3080. Now I don’t know why the PC requirements are lower for AMD’s GPUs and higher for NVIDIA’s GPUs. Perhaps there is a mistake here and the RX 6800 was for Ultra/1440p/60fps?

But anyway, Far Cry 6 will support Ray Tracing Shadows, Hybrid RT Reflections & Variable Rate Shading on PC. It will also support AMD’s FSR tech.

The game will release on October 7th!
