Square Enix has announced that its fast-paced team brawler, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Free Edition, is officially coming to the PC on March 12th. DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Free Edition offers players the opportunity to try out a limited roster of characters on a weekly basis, as well as a variety of characters and weapons that are also available for individual purchase.
This Free Edition of DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT will not feature a Story mode, and some aspects of the Free Edition differ from the full version of the game. Players will be able to battle online against users from the full version (our guess is that the Standard version will be made available on Steam alongside its Free Edition) and players can carry over their Free Edition save data to the full version.
Developed in partnership with Team NINJA from KOEI Tecmo, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT is described as a unique 3-vs-3 team-based brawler, where players work together to overcome their rivals and dominate the battlefield. Featuring characters from throughout the FINAL FANTASY series, powerful summons, online and offline play modes, character skins, and a new original story, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT aims to welcome players of all types to enter the arena.
Now since this is a Square Enix/KOEI Tecmo collaboration, I seriously hope that it will not be plagued by all the issues that affected Dead or Alive 6 or NieR Automata.
