Detroit: Become Human & Beyond: Two Souls are available on Steam without Denuvo

Quantic Dream has just released Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls on the PC. Now what’s really interesting about these releases is that they do not feature the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. However, the Epic Games Store versions, which came out first, are still using it.

Quantic Dream has not announced whether it plans to remove Denuvo from the Epic Games Store releases of its games. As such, and if you boycotted these games for having Denuvo, you can finally purchase them. All three games come with a 10% discount right now on Steam.

As we’ve already reported, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls run smooth on a variety of PC configurations. On the other hand, Detroit: Become Human is a really demanding title. The game favors newer generation Intel CPUs, and requires powerful graphics cards.

Back in September 2019, Quantic Dream’s David Cage claimed that the reaction from the PC community has been tremendous. In August 2019, Quantic Dream also stated that it was happy with the PC sales of Heavy Rain.

Quantic Dream is currently working on multi-platform games that will release on the PC alongside the console versions. However, we don’t know whether these new games will be timed-exclusive on Epic Games Store. We also don’t know whether the team will use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech in its upcoming games.

Stay tuned for more!
