Back in the golden days, instead of using microtransactions, developers were implementing cheat codes to their games in order to make them a bit easier for gamers. And while these days are long gone, on the PC we can use trainers that can bring back that magic. Truth be told, trainers can also ruin a difficult game – like Dark Souls – but in Odyssey’s case, they can address one specific feature that Ubisoft has added via microtransactions.
In case you weren’t aware of, Odyssey features level-gating missions, meaning that you need to reach a certain level in order to complete both main and side quests. This feature was also present in Origins, however in Odyssey Ubisoft is offering an EXP booster that bypasses this “feature.” Naturally this XP booster is behind a pay-wall and thankfully a trainer can offer the same thing but for free to everyone.
The trainer also comes with Infinite Health, Infinite Money, Infinite XP and more cheats, however – and in order to stay as close to the vanilla game as possible – we strongly suggest using the Alt+1/2/3/4 options that give an EXP booster. By using this, PC gamers can enjoy the main story without having to grind or do any side quests at all.
Basically, this option in the trainer does exactly what the official XP booster does, only better as it comes with four options (2X, 4X, 8X and 16X). And to be honest, this is something that Ubisoft should be offering for free as it can dramatically affect the way you play the game.
