Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal today released the first trailer in a new series of stylized videos that focus on the rich tapestry of THIEF; its City and its characters. As the press release reads, each trailer in this new series tells the story of The City from the perspective of a different character in THIEF’s narrative describing what life is like in the broken, repressed City that is being ravaged by the evil Baron Northcrest and the mysterious sickness known as ‘The Gloom’. Oddworld Inhabitants has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming remake to Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty aims to stay true to its roots, while sporting overhauled visuals. The game will hit PC, as well as PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS VITA, Wii U, Mac and Linux. YouTube’s member ‘Zurvv’ has posted a video, featuring the 15 first minutes of Battlefield 4’s SP campaign and showcasing what DICE’s shooter looks like with Ultra setting at 4K resolution. Zurvv used four Titans in order to run BF4 at 3840×2160. Contrary to the previous video we shared (the one showcasing the game running at 1440p), this one gives the option to view it in all its 4K glory, so go ahead and take a look. Enjoy! Modder ‘Sergeant_Mark_IV’ has finally released the latest version of his amazing brutal mod for id Software’s classic shooter. This new version of Brutal Doom comes with new fatalities, new smoke effects, improved blood decals, much improved melee combat, new animations for a number of enemies, and adds sticky gibs. Brutal Doom is by far the best mod we’ve ever seen for Doom, so make sure to give it a go. You can find a download link – as well as its complete changelog – below. South Park: The Stick of Truth – Seven Minutes Gameplay Trailer, Delayed To March 2014

Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth and revealed that the game has been delayed for all platforms. As the company notes, in their latest adventure, the South Park boys embark on a quest to the Inn of the Giggling Donkey, an infamous tavern that harbors the scum of all the realm. South Park: The Stick of Truth looks really interesting. Now I’ll be honest here; I was not looking forward to this title. I mean, I like South Park but I didn’t expect Obsidian to manage to pull it off and stay so close to the cartoon. And after watching this latest gameplay trailer, I really want to see more of it. So that’s good I guess. The game is now planned for a March 4th release. Enjoy! TarHead Studio has released its first indie title, GRiEF, on Desura. GRiEF is described as a 2D, sidescrolling platform game in which you take the role of a small child who recently lost its father in cancer due to a long time habit of smoking and is therefore going through the five stages of grief. The stages represent different emotional phases a person experiences when grieving, and they are called Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance.
