Company of Heroes 2 – Debut Gameplay Trailer

And here it is, the debut gameplay trailer of Company of Heroes 2 has been released. Company of Heroes 2 is planned for an early 2013 release, exclusively on the PC, and will be powered by Relic Entertainment’s new Essence Engine 3.0 and its ColdTech system. ColdTech includes an ‘extreme cold’ mechanic which accurately encapsulates the Soviet winter which reached extremes of -40 degrees F in 1941. Hitman: Absolution – PC Performance Analysis

Ah, Hitman: Absolution. A Square Enix game that is ported to the PC by Nixxes. Awesome, right? After all, Nixxes was behind the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, a version that featured a lot of graphical options, a FOV slider, and took advantage of quad-cores. In all seriousness (and despite the fact that there was an annoying stuttering effect that was later fixed), Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a great PC port. Therefore, we were expecting Hitman: Absolution to blow us away. However, it did not. And did you know that the PC version suffers from console optimizations? Oh, you didn’t know that, right? GTA V’s PC petition has managed to hit its initial goal of 100K signatures. After getting exposed to most major gaming websites a couple of days ago, the petition has managed to hit its goal, and is now seeking for 150K signatures. Of course, this has little to do with whether or not Rockstar will release the game on the PC. Okay, we all know that it will come after a couple of months, but still… this petition shows that there is a PC market willing to play this sandbox game on that particular platform.
