The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold 1.7 million copies so far

CD Projekt RED has just revealed that their amazing RPG, The Witcher 2, has sold 1.7 million copies thus far. Although this number is not as high as, let’s say Diablo III, it’s still impressive for a game that launched as a PC exclusive title. Let’s also not forget that CD Projekt RED is a small company – compared to other triple-A studios that need to sell more copies of their games to make a profit. CD Projekt RED is really happy with the game’s sales and it will be interesting to see how many copies did the X360 actually sell (as that was not revealed in today’s conference). Battlefield Premium Service – Launches in June 4th, offers two weeks early access to future DLCs

Man, EA must be unhappy with all those leaks these days. Battlefield Premium Service’s fact sheet has been leaked online and reveals everything you want to know about DICE’s and EA’s upcoming service. According to the fact sheet, players will have to pay a one-time fee of $49.99 USD. Those who’ll be using this service will be get early access (two weeks) to all future expansion packs. In addition, member will receive a host of unique in-game items not available anywhere else. Krater is now available for pre-order; pre-purchase and gain immediate access to its beta

Fatshark has revealed that their upcoming squad-based action RPG, Krater, is now available for pre-order on Steam. The game is priced at 13.99 euros and by pre-purchasing it, players will gain immediate access to the Beta and an upgrade to the Collector’s Edition for free. Sniper Elite V2 PC gets a new Update that adds two new maps and a Super-Sampling option

Rebellion has released a new update for their first person sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. This update adds two new maps for DM and TDM, new Command Line Options, in-game Console, advanced Shadows option, as well as Super-Sampling for all those with high-end PC configurations. In addition, this patch comes with various fixes and Dedicated Server improvements. Bethesda announces Doom 3 BFG Edition; features reworked versions of Doom 3, bundled with Doom 1 & 2

Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media company, today announced that DOOM 3 BFG Edition will be available this Autumn and features DOOM 3 and the Resurrection of Evil add-on pack, both of which have been completely re-mastered. The package also includes hours of new content – seven new levels entitled ‘The Lost Mission’. DOOM 3 BFG Edition is slated for release for X360, PC and PS3 – making it the first time any DOOM game has ever appeared on the PlayStation 3. SMITE Closed Beta Begins on Thursday, 31st May

Hi-Rez Studios today confirmed that the Closed Beta for the action MOBA game SMITE will begin tomorrow on Thursday, 31st May, 2012. Studio representatives also announced that no character wipes are planned during Beta.
