Codemasters had announced that a demo for DiRT Showdown would be hitting platforms on May 1st and would feature a solo and multiplayer event. It was only natural to appear on Steam’s registry, right? Crysis 2 – MaLDo introduces new manhole, new puddle, parallax on distant buildings and FDR on walls

I tell you guys; Crytek should seriously hire MaLDo. After a long break, the modder is back and has introduced some truly amazing new features to the upcoming version of his MaLDoHD mod. The latest version of MaLDoHD will come with a new manhole, a new puddle, parallax on distant buildings and FDR on walls. To demonstrate those changes, the modder has released some shots that can be viewed below. MaLDo has outdone himself and Crysis 2 looks – almost – like a completely new game with his mod. Battlefield 3 – Real-Life Video makes fun of BF3’s ‘Need Ammo’ and ‘Flashlight’ Issues

You’ve definitely been in that awkward situation where you’ve been left without ammo in BF3. And, naturally, you’ve already encountered teamates that were unwilling to co-operate with you. Those newbies were not giving you any ammo and sometimes, they were even blinding you with their flashlights. Well, YouTube’s member ‘CooperationDeLee’ uploaded a real life video that makes fun of these issues. It looks good, albeit a little slow-paced. Skyrim mod introduces ‘more lush and re-sized’ plants and grasses

Modder ‘Hritik’ released a pretty interesting mod for Skyrim. ‘More lush and re-sized plants and grasses ML-RPG’ is a mod that comes with re-sized grasses and plants in an attempt to give a more realistic feel to the game’s forests. One of the best features of this mod is that some underwater plants come out of water (due to their increased size), which looks amazing and gives a nice detail to the game’s environments. This mod is compatible with vurts flora overhaul and the modder promised to rework the game’s trees in a newer version of this mod. You will find below some screenshots and its download link. Enjoy! Project CARS gets a new, unofficial DX11 Trailer

Project CARS community member ‘PLM5′ has uploaded an amazing DX11 trailer for Slightly Mad Studios’ community-based racer. As always, Project CARS looks amazing and you can definitely notice in this trailer the lighting improvements that have been made in its 19x builds. New Gothic 3 Community Patch v1.75.14 Released; adds FXAA, performance tweaks and color grading

The Community Patch Team of Gothic 3 has released a new update for Piranha Bytes’ old gem. This new update adds FXAA support, color grading, and various performance tweaks. According to the team, savegames of the 1.75.12 Version (Gothic Complete Edition and Gothic 3: Gold Enhanced Edition) can be used. However, savegames from older versions (1.74 and older) and ini files of versions 1.74 or older are not compatible with this new version. Nvidia Officially Announces GTX 690; the fastest GPU card on the market

Last week, we informed you about a big announcement that would be made on April 28th. Back then, we predicted that the announcement would be about an Nvidia dual-card and it appears we were right. Nvidia revealed yesterday their high-end dual card, called GTX690. GTX 690 consists of 2 Kepler GPUs and uses a 10-phase power supply to allow maximum overclocking. Its 300 watts of GPU is kept cool with dual water-vapor chambers directly on the GPUs, nickel-plated fins to prevent tarnishing/oxidation, and a fan spinning at 3000 RPM.
