The Witcher 3 party

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Off-Camera Footage from PC Version

Yesterday, NVIDIA held a GDC Conference that was underwhelming to say the least. During that conference, CD Projekt RED showcased the PC version of The Witcher 3. In fact, this video was perhaps the only amazing thing coming from that conference. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was running on NVIDIA’s Grid cloud system in order to show its potential. The video is almost 3 minutes in length, and can be viewed below. Enjoy!

The game looks fantastic and he said it was not on the highest settings because they want to people to get amazed by the details.

Just can’t wait to play it.

  • John Mellinger

So much for people saying Gameworks destroys games… Guess when a Dev has real optimization talent everything looks and plays great. Unless it’s Ubifail or rushed dev’s.

      Well said!!

    • Russell Collins

You have no idea how the game even plays yet performance or otherwise. Stop being such an Nvidia fan boy.

  • RandomBaka

Looks beautiful no doubt. Soon there will be killing monsters 🙂
Personally, I prefer that the game has good performance, good gameplay, controls, immersive and deep story telling and world, interesting characters, exploration, adventuring and so on. Nice graphics is only a good perk to have in the game and have nothing against it, we all love nice looking games. But the feel of the game is somehow more important than looks in my book.

Looks really good, I cant wait to play it. I see the wind is blowing away the particles when he casts Igni too, I dont remember seeing that in the console footage.

  • CervixCreampier

Worse than saints row 2. Calling it now. Man when GTAV and TW3 both turn out to be s**t ports I’ll be the happiest person alive, who called it before hand.

Note: 60fps on nvidia cards versus terrible stuttery framerate on AMD gpus != optimization.

  • mimp

how is this ‘ultra’ settings ? One would assume Ultra means the highest, yet at several points in the video they explain that the settings are not at the highest

what is there a super ultra setting or something

  • MancVandaL

I had no idea I knew so much Polish.

  • uthvag

looks good, but am i the only one noticing the stutters and noticing the blur (1080p)

    hope they optimize it well

    • John Mellinger

you know this game fotage was taken from the new Nvidia shield running off Nvida’s grid system… it was not running off a straight up PC with multi gpu’s in it

      • uthvag

thanks , i thought i was going blind… ( and on a serious note , thanks fir the info)

  • Amir

cloud this, cloud that, F cloud

  • Silviu

    dat stutter though!
    F*ck u CD Projekt

Witcher 3= the new Far Cry 4 or AC Unity at crappy optimization f*uck that!

    • Sho

I’m throwing a bone to the troll because it made me laugh.

Anyway, I’m sure you’re well aware you’re watching a compressed YouTube video of a poor quality Twitch stream of a game being streamed to an Android console.

Yup, any stuttering must be game’s fault. xD

      • PcRules

I hope he was joking, or else he is a F’ING retard!!

    • John Mellinger

as I said before… you know this game fotage was taken from the new Nvidia shield running off Nvida’s grid system… it was not running off a straight up PC with multi gpu’s in it. So yeah Shield does not come out for a few more months so I am sure they are working on the latancy.

  • Mafioso

Yeah this was streaming from the Nvidia Grid to Shield console and of course it will be even better running on your own PC.
