It’s been a while since our last look on Skyrim, don’t you think? Well, today we bring you two new mods that have just been released. These two mods are Luftahraan: Heimfeigr and Project Skyrim HD: Riften Series. Luftahraan: Heimfeigr adds a new dungeon to Bethesda’s title that is split into 5 cells, and one of which contains a fully scripted boss fight in the same vein as those in World of Warcraft and Diablo.
Luftahraan: Heimfeigr will be included in the Luftahraan mod that has been in development for 18 months. It adds a new city to the Skyrim worldspace, situated to the west of Solitude, as well as a large area of surrounding lands and villages. Luftahraan will come with its own main quest, as well as numerous side quests, a functioning arena fully integrated into city life and well over 100 NPCs.
As the team suggested, Heimfeigr has been released at this point because Luftahraan has been under development for a long time, and it is keen to reassure people that development is still continuing apace:
“We also want to show people some of our design principles in action – the focus on interesting puzzles (that don’t just involve a spinning statue) and challenging boss fights (that don’t just involve the player running up to the monster and devouring 47 health potions whilst standing still and repeatedly hitting them), as well as our attention to detail, is something that we plan to bring to many of the dungeons that will feature in Luftahraan, not just Heimfeigr.”
Project Skyrim HD: Riften Series, on the other hand, aims to bring Riften in a complete new never seen before look. All Textures were done from Scratch and have been optimized to give you best performance and the best look that you would expect from any HD Mod. In short, this Mod will change the whole outside area and the interior of Riften.

“I have tried to stay as lore friendly as possible and of course designed the City to my personal likings in first way. I want to Share this Mod with you all because I think many of you will also like this and of course many of you will not like it, just like everything in life. So feel free to try out those “
