Nvidia GeForce 301.42 WHQL Drivers Released


Nvidia released today a new set of drivers for its graphic cards. According to the release notes, GeForce 301.42 increases performance for GeForce 400 Series and 500 Series GPUs in several PC games vs. GeForce 296.10 WHQL-certified drivers and come with PhysX System Software v9.12.0213, HD Audio v1.3.16.0, OpenGL 4.2, DisplayPort 1.2 for GeForce GTX 600-series, and multiple languages and APIs for GPU computing: CUDA C, CUDA C++, CUDA Fortran, OpenCL, DirectCompute, and Microsoft C++ AMP support, as well as support for single GPU and NVIDIA SLI technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, DirectX 11, and OpenGL, including 3-way SLI, Quad SLI, and SLI support on SLI-certified Intel and AMD motherboards.
GeForce 301.42 WHQL sports updated SLI profiles for Alan Wake, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, Deus Ex: Human Revolution ? The Missing Link, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Risen 2: Dark Waters, The Darkness II, Max Payne 3, Sniper Elite V2 and Street Fighter X Tekken.
Moreover, these new drivers feature updated 3D profiles for Oil Rush, Rayman Origins, rFactor 2, Trackmania 2: Canyon and some other games.
