During Time Warner’s Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2012 Earnings Conference Call, John K. Martin, revealed that there will be a new Batman Arkham game in 2013. Warner Bros expects to have a wonderful year, and the release of this new Batman game will be a big push for the publisher.
As John K. Martin said during the conference call:
“And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012.”
So there you have it everyone, coming straight from the horse’s mouth. Of course this new Batman game may get delayed. After all, we haven’t seen anything yet, not even one CG trailer for it.
Could Warner Bros reveal this new Batman game in GDC? The timing sounds right. Some might say that an E3 reveal would be better, but if the game gets unveiled in this year’s E3, we can kiss a 2013 release goodbye.
