German store ‘GameStop’ lists Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for the PC, Capcom denies it

Dragons Dogma
A new entry of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen appeared out of nowhere on the German store of GameStop. According to this listing, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be coming to the PC, though there is no release date as of yet for it. We know that a lot of PC gamers will be overwhelmed with joy after hearing this, however you should not count on GameStop’s listing for possible leaks. After all, the German store has Prey 2 coming on October 13th, 2013, meaning that this could simply be a placeholder and nothing more.
Capcom’s Sven has also debunked this PC rumor of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. When asked about it, Sven said that this isn’t true and that there isn’t any PC version of Dragon’s Dogma at the moment, even though he tries hard to convince Capcom in porting it.
“I wish that were true. Alas, nothing happening on that front at the moment. I’m STILL having conversations with Kobayashi about making that happen to this day (as recently as two days ago in fact).”
All in all, this seems more like a false alarm. Or at least that’s what Capcom claims. Since GameStop’s listing is not accurate most of the times and is not as trustworthy as – let’s say – Steam’s registry though, we’ll take Capcom’s word on this.
