Battlefield: Hardline Revealed – Visceral’s BF Game, Coming Fall 2014, 7-Minute Trailer Leaked

Battlefield fans, get ready for a treat. Visceral’s Battlefield game has just been revealed and according to its official website, it will be called Battlefield: Hardline. As EA revealed, the game will launch this Fall, is a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, and will involve cops versus criminals.

As EA’s Steve Papoutsis wrote:

“There’s been a lot of buzz today about Battlefield Hardline – we’re getting ready for E3 and fans found some details on our website about what we’re working on for the show. We’ve been reading all of your comments and we’re excited to be going into more detail soon on the ways we’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and more about how we’re bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player.”

Moreover, a 7-minute gameplay trailer from this new Battlefield game has been leaked and can be viewed below (or can be downloaded from here).

      Soooo having police and robbers in any game is an ripoff of payday? Payday doesn’t even have multiplayer with players on two different sides like this does it? Or vehicles? Or big maps? Or destruction?

        Having multiplayer, vehicles, big maps and destruction doesn’t make it unique either!
        It certainly looks like they took Payday and just made a mp version from it.

          You obviously haven’t played bf4 since the launch. I haven’t gotten a disconnect or a crash in over the last 60 play hours. And even if it did then it’s not about the netcode.

            I have seen that video and that has to do with the delay, not crashing. And again, it doesn’t crash anymore. Also that video is rather pointless as there is no reference point or comparison to BF3 or other games.

      You cant just say “They ripped off payday” So your saying any game that is like another is a rip off and shouldn’t happen. So you’d just want one First Person Shooter or one racing game, what if they’re crap? I’m so tired of people using the term “ripping off”. Think how many FPS there are, how many racing games, not many bank robbing games. When it happens people like you say it’s ripping off.. pffff rubbish. I think it’s the opposite, they’re changing the Battlefield series up.

      Inspired by Payday you may say, luckily GTA V have not come to PC just yet, otherwise you’d say oh ripped off again.

      Fyi, they’re also inspired by The Shield and 24 tv series.

    Anyways , I think single player of this game should be good since Visceral Games is pretty good at story telling . I’ll keep an open mind about this game .
