Assassin’s Creed: Origins expected to sell better than Syndicate, Rainbow Six: Siege surpassed 20 million registered players

During its fiscal call, Ubisoft revealed some new details about its current and upcoming titles. According to the French company, Rainbow Six: Siege has surpassed 20 million registered players, and The Crew now has 12 million registered players.

Furthermore, Ubisoft expect Assassin’s Creed: Origins to sell better than Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate but worse than Assassin’s Creed: Unity. On the other hand, the team expect Far Cry 5 to sell somewhere in the Far Cry 3 to 4 range (in other words around 7-10 million).

Moreover, Ubisoft claimed that The Crew 2 has Ubisoft’s highest ever beta registrations, and that the registrations for the first beta phases Skull & Bones have set a new record for a new IP title.

Ubisoft has also revealed the sales for Q1 2016/2017 per platform. As we can see, the PC platform has fallen behind both PS4 and Xbox One, with the PS4 leading by a massive 44%.
