Great news for all old-school gamers, as Iron Tower Studio have released a public beta for their ‘Fallout meets swords’ game, The Age of Decadence, The Age of Decadence is an upcoming pseudo-isometric 3D turn-based role-playing video game for Windows and Linux by Iron Tower Studio, led by the pseudonymous “Vince D. Weller”.
Set in a low-magic post-apocalyptic world inspired by the fall of the Roman Empire, The Age of Decadence promises to return to the golden era of RPGs emphasizing choices and consequences, a comprehensive skill set, multiple solutions to quests, and extensive dialogue trees.
Now don’t expect mind-blowing graphics and such things. This is an old-school indie RPG and it’s all about its gameplay. So go ahead and give it a try. You might like it.
